The Victor Pasmore Gallery is a vibrant hub designed to preserve, research and honour Pasmore and his Maltese peers. While in the past this has been carried out through a diverse range of events, workshops, exhibitions and programmes, the gallery is committed to extending the research beyond its walls.
As of 2024, the Victor Pasmore Gallery embarked on a journey to build a comprehensive digital archive designed to preserve, promote and make accessible the Maltese Modern Art Movement. This is being done through an investment in a state-of-the-art digitisation studio that allows us to conserve a wealth of materials related to the Modern Art Movement. Through this project, we aim to educate and inspire current and future generations and foster a connection between art, history and education.
We are inviting you to join us on this exciting journey by sharing any information, documents, pictures, videos, or any other materials related to the 20th Century in Malta. Our research involves a variety of disciplines, including art, music, history and art education from the 20th Century.
This project is being financially assisted by the HSBC Foundation
