MEET THE AUTHORS
PUBLIC – PLAY – PRIVATE
The VP Gallery presents Meet the Authors on Friday 6th November at 19:00, an evening dedicated to the exhibition catalogue Gabriel Caruana: Public – Play – Private. Bringing together authors Raffaella Zammit, Giuliana Fenech and Andrew Darmanin & Ella Fleri Soler of Text Catalogue, the discussion, moderated by editor Giulia Privitelli, will explore Caruana’s artistic practice, his belief in play, his engagement with public space, and his commitment to accessibility.
The conversation will also consider the continued relevance of his vision in a Malta where shared spaces are increasingly contested.
Bring your questions, memories, and stories of Gabriel. Before the talk, we will also be offering an exhibition tour at the VP Gallery.
In collaboration with Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti and the Gabriel Caruana Foundation, with special thanks to the University of Malta. To attend, register by emailing info@victorpasmoregallery.com.
