Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti invites guests to the Victor Pasmore Gallery to experience Burning Waters: ‘Diplomazija Astuta’ Retold through a curatorial tour guided by Professor Keith Sciberras.
This tour offers visitors the possibility to explore the dialogue between Arcangelo Sassolino’s transformative molten steel on paper works and Victor Pasmore’s philosophy of the independence of painting.
Through Sciberras’s insights, visitors are ushered into the tensions that animate the exhibition: fire and water, steel and paper, permanence and change. The tour reveals how Sassolino’s process of transformation echoes Pasmore’s own exploration of abstraction, perception, and human expression.
