Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti invites visitors to experience Burning Waters: ‘Diplomazija Astuta’ Retold through the second edition of our curatorial tour directed by Professor Keith Sciberras.
This tour presents guests the opportunity to explore the dialogue between Victor Pasmore’s ideology of the independence of painting and Sassolino’s transformative molten steel on paper works.
Through Sciberras’s insights, visitors are shown the pressures that liven the exhibition: fire and water, steel and paper, permanence and change. The tour demonstrates how Sassolino’s methodology of transformation reflects Pasmore’s own exploration of abstraction, perception, and human expression.
