The Gallery will be closed from the 22nd to the 25th of December and from the 29th to the 1st of January.

TICKET INFORMATION

 

Standard Ticket – €5.95
Senior Citizens (60 years & over – a valid ID card must be presented) – €3.50
ICOM, ISIC & EYC – 3.50 (on presentation of card)
Children aged 6 to 12 visit the gallery for free when accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 years are not permitted in the gallery.

Tickets can be purchased at the Victor Pasmore Gallery reception desk.

 

 

GETTING HERE

Valletta is very accessible by bus, you will find a bus directly to the capital from every locality. You can stop at the main bus terminus in Floriana and walk past the Triton Fountain towards the main entrance of Valletta.

While Valletta is a walkable city, you may want to use the circular bus number 133 from the bus terminus to St. Paul street. Stop at Nawfragju and there’s a 1 minute walk to the gallery.

The Gallery is also accessible by the Barrakka Lift. Once you arrive at the Upper Barakka gardens walk towards Castille Palace. To avoid the steep downhill of St. Paul Street, walk through Merchants Street for 180 meters, and turn right on to St. John Street. Walk straight for another 62 meters, turn left on to St. Paul Street and walk straight towards the gallery for another 120 meters.

Cospicua (3 Cities) Ferry

Valletta is accessible by ferry from Cospicua. Once you arrive in Valletta the Gallery is just a short 6 minute walk away. Walk up the hill on Liesse Street, walk through Victoria’s Gate and up the stairs to East Street. Walk straight for 40 meters, and take a left on to St. Lucy Street. Walk up the stairs for 80 meters and turn left on to St. Paul street and walk straight towards the Gallery. Alternatively the Gallery is also accessible by the Barrakka lift close to the ferry terminal.

Sliema Ferry

Valletta is accessible by ferry from Sliema. Once you arrive in Valletta the Gallery is just a short 8 minute walk away. Walk up the hill from Marsamxett towards St. Lucy Street then walk straight for 450 meters. Turn left on to St. Paul street and walk straight towards the Gallery.

Gozo Fast Ferry

Valletta is accessible by ferry from Gozo. Once you arrive in Valletta the Gallery is just a short 6 minute walk away. Walk up the hill on Liesse Street, walk through Victoria’s Gate and up the stairs on to East Street. Walk straight for 40 meters, and take a left on to St. Lucy Street. Walk up the stairs for 80 meters and turn left on to St. Paul street and walk straight towards the Gallery. Alternatively the Gallery is also accessible by the Barrakka lift close to the ferry terminal.

From the Main Entrance, Valletta
The Gallery is just a short 9 minute walk from the main entrance of Valletta. Walk through Republic Street for 450 meters, turn right on to  St. John’s Street and walk straight for another 170 meters, finally turn left on to St. Paul Street and walk straight towards the gallery for another 120 meters.

From Castille Palace, Valletta
The Gallery is only a 4 minute walk from Castille Palace. To avoid the steep downhill of St. Paul Street, walk through Merchants Street for 180 meters, and turn right on to St. John Street. Walk straight for another 62 meters, turn left on to St. Paul Street and walk straight towards the gallery for another 120 meters.

Visitors arriving by car can park in the numerous parking areas in Floriana and proceed to the gallery on foot from the Main Entrance of Valletta. Parking inside Valletta is possible in white boxes only.

ACCESSIBILITY

Wheelchair – the gallery is fully accessible by wheelchair through a lift.
Restrooms – there are restrooms available inside the gallery for visitors.

LOCKERS

Lockers are available at no additional charge at the reception. Visitors with large bags are required to leave their bags in lockers before entering the gallery. Please note there is no cloakroom facility.

SECURITY

All areas of the Gallery have CCTV cameras.

GALLERY POLICIES

Visitors are asked to observe the regulations necessary for protecting the works of art housed within the Gallery. Touching items on display is prohibited.

Smoking, vaping, eating and drinking is strictly forbidden on the Gallery grounds.

Photography is allowed throughout the Gallery. Photography must be for personal, non-commercial use only. The use of flash, selfie sticks, tripods and camera supports are not permitted.

Due to the sensitivity of the Gallery, children under the age of 6 are not permitted into the museum and those between the ages of six and twelve must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pets are not allowed entry into the Gallery.

Scooters, roller blades, skateboards or bicycles are not allowed anywhere inside the Gallery.

Due to the nature of the Gallery, personal bags are not allowed inside. Lockers are available free of charge at Reception area. Please note that there is no cloakroom facility available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate for large bags, suitcases or large items such as prams, pushchairs, bicycles, scooters, etc.
